Matt + Addie | Wedding Day

Fun bride and wacky groom, cheerful bridesmaids and hilarious best men, beautiful weather and venue.. Matt & Addie’s got everything they need to make the perfect wedding.

The wedding was held in a golf course, about 2 hours drive from the city of Vancouver. As soon as we arrived, together with their bridesmaids and best men, we explored the venue, got a buggy and snapped some shots. The place is marvelous!

I love how the wedding really reflects their personality: FUN and lovely. Matt and Addie totally rocked their wedding day. They danced through their wedding entrance wearing sunglasses! hahaa.. it is always a treat to see the bride and groom loosen up and have fun on their own wedding day.

To Matt and Addie, thank you for trusting us to capture your most treasured moments. You two are perfectly made for each other. We are so blessed to know you. Hope to see you guys again when we visit Vancouver 🙂

Here’s wishing you a wonderful marriage and exciting life together.

William + Mila’s Wedding Day

Come rain or come shine, nothing can stop the joy William and Mila had the day they tied the knot. After we took their pre-wedding portrait a while back, here is the sweet ending of William and Mila’s love journey, as well as the beginning of their lifetime happiness.

Their wedding was held during rainy season in Bali. So as expected, the heaven poured down its blessing that night. However, Mila and William, took their brightest yellow umbrella and started to dance in the rain. It was quite magical.

As soon after the reception finished, the rain stopped and it’s time for the After Party! William and Mila were having the time of their life, as their family and friends joined them on the dance floor to celebrate. We had a blast capturing every moment, plus, we got to work alongside the groovy people from Axioo’s Video Team who absolutely know how to party. Awesome!

Hope you all enjoy the photos, and to William and Mila, wishing you a marriage full of love that will last through rain or shine, cheers!

Simon + Joo Joo’s Solemnization

Attended only by main family members, Simon and Joo Joo’s solemnization is one of the most heart-warming ceremonies I’ve captured yet. The whole atmosphere was intensely personal that Simon had a hard time keeping his eyes dry throughout the service.

It rained during the event, but a little shower only meant more blessing. It didn’t deter the newlyweds to have a good time! The couple carried out with the ceremony and it was blessed with heaven’s sign.

Buds + Blooms

Once in a while, it is good to take a break from the routines. Most of the times, repetition limits our perspective and eventually affects our outcome. That is why I like to explore other scope of work beside weddings. It breathes new inspiration for my daily job. It allows me to encounter new challenges, and I get to expand my circle of friends while at it.

Buds and Blooms was established in early 2009, and is Jakarta’s luxury, lifestyle brand providing a wide variety of services, from residential and corporate flowers to weddings and personal arrangements. We knew them quite a while and when they told me they need a photographer to renew their catalog, I was more than happy to help them.

P.S. Thanks to Steph & Jen for the flower bouquet, I gave to my fiancee, Irene and she loved it 😉

Arie + Katryn’s Solemnization

I can’t wait to share you this beautiful intimate outdoor solemnization of Arie and Katryn. Witnessed only by very closed friend and main family, the event took place in the legendary hotel Majapahit, Surabaya, which is close to 100 years in age.

The whole event was really touching and when the couple exchange their vows, everyone couldn’t hold their tears. It was one of the most heartfelt solemnization I’ve ever been.

To rabbit and the magician, may you both continue to cherish each other and live happily ever after.

Winston + Hellen’s Wedding

This is one wedding you don’t want to miss. I really enjoyed every single moment of it and I think every guests who attended did feel the same. Hellen & Winston really did a great job on designing their own wedding and the whole event went perfectly well. Hellen even has started her own wedding designer business as she’s really inspired by the American style wedding. If you’re thinking of having a creative wedding, you may want to check her blog

Unlike most of the people, they chose to divide their solemnization and reception in two different day. The first day, they had their outdoor solemnization at Fort Canning Park witnessed only by less than 100 guests who are mainly family and close friends. The whole decoration are designed and handcrafted by Hellen herself, and of course, some of her helpers.

The second day is their wedding reception at Conrad Hotel. One of the most unforgettable moment was when the Maid of Honor, Hellen’s best friend, gave her speech to the couple. It was a very deep and touching speech that made people teary that night. You might realized we also took her engagement photos here.

Congratuations Winston & Hellen, may you have a truly blissful and enjoyable marriage, just like your wedding.

Jason + Sing Yun’s Wedding

One of the joy of being a photographer is meeting a lot of interesting people and if you’re lucky, you’ll get to meet people who just “click” with you at the very first moment you met them. That’s what happened between us and this wonderful couple. Maybe you remember Jason and Sing Yun from their pre-wedding pictures we took previously. They just had a beautiful intimate wedding at Sentosa, and they sure had a lot of fun.

Congratulations to Jason and Sing Yun, we wish you eyes full of joy and interesting life together! May your love blooms brighter and your companionship grows sweeter with each passing year..

The rest of you, enjoy!

Roger + Mabel’s Solemnization

Last week I was in Singapore to capture Mabel and Roger’s solemnization. It was a sweet and intimate event attended by only family and close friends. Mabel and Roger has been dating for 5 years and they decided it’s time to tie the knot. They claimed that they have nothing in common, but they still fit each other perfectly. Like many people said, the perfect couple is like two different pieces of puzzle which completes each other 🙂

We haven’t post their pre-wedding photos yet, so stay tuned for it..

Hendra + Siska @ Bondi Park

Here are some of Hendra & Siska’s 2nd set pre-wedding photos, one of my favorite sets as well. Not sure what’s the name of the park as we found it by sheer coincidence, but it is located just behind Bondi beach, so we call it Bondi Park. This time we went for a fun, playful, a bit graphical and vintage-looking shots. Special thanks to Yenni, our make up artist aka the bubble machine! You won’t believe how many bubbles she could quickly make in one single puff! loll! We had such a good time during the photo session and love the way it turned out, hopefully you do too.

Enjoy ! :-]
