Eugene + Shu Chen | Love Beyond Words

Eugene may not be the typical romantic kind of guy, he doesn’t sweet talk much, but when he said “I Love You” he meant it and he showed it through actions. Here’s a story of Eugene, how he fell for Shu Chen, how he saw her in his eyes and said it through the poem that he wrote for her.

Eat, Drink and Be Merry!

my my how time flies, now we have reached the last days of 2011. I hope many of you have your 2011 Resolution done before making a new list for next year. If you haven’t, well, you’re lucky to have another chances next year so better not to blew it. Speaking for myself, I just crossed one of my 2011 resolution list last week : throwing a decent Christmas party for the staffs and actually post the pictures in the Facebook! Last year we only had a quick and simple staff lunch out; I was too busy to even upload the pictures in the Facebook, sad I know. Now this year we had a small party in the upgraded office, more food, and more gifts. I’m proud to say that everyone went home happy with full tummy and their gifts from their secret santa. Also, I would like to thank all of our awesome crews, clients, and our faithful readers for your support.

Have a jolly Christmas and a bright new year 2012!

Ady + Silvi | Home is Wherever I’m with You

Two years ago I had a privilege taking Hendra and Siska’s pre-wedding pictures in Sydney. This time I got to shoot another pre-wedding photos of Hendra’s brother Ady, and his lovely fiancee, Silvi, in the paradise island, Bali.

Ady is currently running his family business while Silvi is in the midst of pursuing her passion for fashion. Given their busy working schedule spending quality time at home, watching dvds, and enjoying each other’s company are simple things they cherished the most. Inspired with that idea, we designed an icon resembled ‘home’ and had it captured in every places we go.

They both are open for any fun and crazy ideas, if you’re a photographer, you know you’re lucky to have such client. Thank you Ady & Silvi for trusting us and for the awesome time we had together!

Check out their photos and you’ll see how much fun the had. Enjoy!

p.s. we’re gonna post their pre-wedding video soon. Stay tuned!

Jonathan + Wendy | Wedding Day

After watching Sea Games final football match between Indo vs Malaysia few days ago, I couldn’t help but thinking which side will Jonathan take.. His father is Malaysian while his mom is indonesian. Now he’s holding Malaysian passport but he lives in indo his entire life and his wife is Indonesian. Hmmm.. But anyway, I had a pleasure of shooting for his and Wendy’s intimate wedding in Bali and can’t wait to share it.

Attended only by close friends and family, Jon & Wendy’s wedding was simply lovely. Their ceremony was held in the iconic beachfront Conrad Bali and their reception was at the Edge, which is, literally, located at the edge of a cliff with a breathtaking views of the ocean. Just perfect for these two doctors in love.

Daniel + Fenny | The Journey

Daniel and Fenny first met in Overseas Graduate event in Surabaya. Daniel took a glimpse of her and he already fell for her charming and cute smile. After a short time of conversation, they found out how click they were and it led to meeting after meeting. I can imagine how quickly they fell for each other.. they are just so compatible as a couple, a match made in heaven.

They both share the passion of traveling, it’s only natural when they requested a travel theme photo shoot. To tie with the theme, we set out to shoot their pictures in 4 different cities : Singapore, Hong Kong, Macau, and Jakarta. We designed a map of their love journey along with a boarding pass for each location that stated with every date and time of that significant events in their relationship. Yes, they kept track of every single details and never failed to celebrate that events their way. I remembered Fenny told me how they celebrated their 1st month anniversary by having a candle light dinner in a middle of a golf course. Also, when Daniel proposed her, he booked the whole second floor of a famous restaurant and filled it with roses. That is how they cherish each other. Aren’t they sweet?

We had fun and laughs during the photo shoot! They said yes for almost anything and that made shooting for them was a breeze. I remembered the night in Hong Kong where we asked them to stand in the middle of the street full of people and kissed. A lot of people thought they were actors and actress in the middle of film shooting. They just did it naturally without feeling uneasy. Also, they were so flexible, they could easily switch from wacky to classy pose in no time. They are just so cute together and the camera just loved them.

Here’s to Daniel and Fenny who just tied the knot, enjoy the fun ride of marriage and wish you lots of love!
